Meet Pankaj Pradhananga: A Pioneer of Inclusive Travel

Impact Adventure was founded as a manifestation of Pankaj’s belief in responsible tourism. Having spent over 25 yrs in organising tourism activities in the Himalayan region, Starting as an Asst. F&B Controller in 1992, he became a licensed tour guide in 1994, quickly learned the ropes of Nepal’s tourism landscape. By 1996, he was a manager, and by 2003, a director at a reputed tour operating company in Kathmandu.

In 2013, Pankaj explored the possibility of accessible tourism which was still not much known in Nepal. Aftermath 2015 Nepal earthquake, he actively contributed to Nepal’s tourism recovery . In 2016, he organized the Wounded Heroes Trek of Hope under the UNWTO, focusing on healing through travel. Finally, in 2025, Pankaj founded Impact Adventure to bring his vision of responsible, inclusive, and sustainable tourism to life, emphasizing meaningful experiences with positive impacts.

In 2013, Pankaj championed accessible tourism, striving to open Nepal’s beauty to people with disabilities. After the 2015 earthquake, he actively promoted Nepal’s tourism recovery. In 2016, he organized the Wounded Heroes Trek of Hope under the UNWTO, focusing on healing through travel.

Finally, in 2025, Pankaj founded Impact Adventure to bring his vision of responsible, inclusive, and sustainable tourism to life, emphasizing meaningful experiences with positive impacts.

Pankaj Pradhananga: A Journey of Impact

F&B Controller – Hotel Narayani, Kathmandu

Pankaj commenced his career in the bustling hospitality sector, meticulously managing food and beverage operations at Hotel Narayani. This foundational role provided him with invaluable insights into the intricate workings of the hotel industry and direct experience in delivering guest satisfaction.

Tour Guide & Leader – Four Season Travel

A pivotal year saw Pankaj obtain his official tour guide license, immediately applying his passion and knowledge as a Tour Leader with Four Season Travel. This period marked his direct engagement with travelers, deepening his understanding of Nepal’s diverse landscapes and cultures from a guiding perspective.

Manager – Four Season Travel

Demonstrating exceptional leadership and a keen understanding of the travel business, Pankaj was promoted to Manager at Four Season Travel. In this expanded role, he began to shape operational strategies and enhance the overall travel experience for clients.

Director – Four Season Travel

Pankaj’s dedication and strategic vision culminated in his promotion to Director at Four Season Travel. This elevated position allowed him to significantly influence the company’s direction, further integrating his growing commitment to responsible and impactful tourism practices.

Championing Accessible Tourism in Nepal

A landmark year for Pankaj, as he passionately spearheaded the initiative to open Nepal for accessible tourism. This visionary step aimed to ensure that the country’s breathtaking beauty and rich cultural experiences could be enjoyed by travelers with disabilities, fostering a more inclusive travel landscape.

Promoting Destination Nepal Post-Earthquake

Following the devastating earthquake, Pankaj took an active and crucial role in vigorously promoting Nepal as a resilient and welcoming travel destination. His efforts were instrumental in rebuilding confidence and encouraging global travelers to return and support the country’s recovery.

Under the patronage of the UNWTO, Pankaj proudly organized the “Wounded Heroes Trek of Hope.” This significant event leveraged the healing power of travel and the spirit of adventure to support wounded heroes, further solidifying his dedication to inclusive and purpose-driven tourism.
